
Gold Cup
The champion of the IKTHOF Gold Cup will forever and ever be known as the greatest knife thrower of that time, and will also walk away with a smaller version of the Gold Cup Trophy (seen below left) and a $1000 winner take all prize.
The IKTHOF Gold cup (seen below right) will remain at the IKTHOF Headquarters in Austin, Texas, with the Gold Cup winner's name engraved on a winner's plaque, denoting the best thrower in the world for that year!
This competition will be open to all styles of throwers regardless of age or gender. The IKTHOF Gold Cup tournament will use a double elimination system to determine a winner in a fair and equitable manner.
Entry fee into the IKTHOF Gold Cup will be $100.
Each thrower will throw the same five knives from each of the following minimum distances:
1/2 spin - 8 feet
1 spin - 11 feet
1 1/2 spins - 14 feet
2 spins - 17 feet
2 1/2 spins - 20 feet
3 spins - 23 feet
Targets will have a 4 inch center (worth 3 points); 8 inch inner ring (worth 2 points); and a 16 inch outer ring (worth 1 point). Knives are scored as they stick, and each thrower must have 5 knives of the same length and style.
